Thankfulness

Thanksgiving has come and gone so quickly. I don’t know what happened with the time, but it’s flying right by me. I barely realize what day of the week it is.

But I feel like I’m always thankful for the same things, and maybe some new things. And I wish to share a few of them with you.

I’m thankful for my family and friends. They are the most loving, caring group of people I know and I don’t know where I’d be without them.

I’m thankful for the close friendships that I’ve developed over the course of the past year or so.

I’m thankful for the house that we live in. It may not be perfect (because there are projects I’d like to do to it) but it’s a good one. And it is the shelter for us, keeping us safe and warm during the New England weather.

I’m thankful for my husband. He is one of the most hardworking, dedicated, caring, loving men I know. I don’t know what I would do without him.

I’m thankful for our 2 spirited little boys. They keep us on our toes for sure, but they are so funny, loving and crazy little guys. It’s hard not to smile or laugh at them most of the time (or laugh with them). I know life is going to be a rollercoaster with these 2.

I’m thankful for the daycare teachers at the daycare our children go to. Without them, our children wouldn’t have a fun, creative, learning space to grow. And I know each and every teacher they have had, has made a huge impact on their lives, as well as ours. They are giving our kids the foundation of all sorts of things. Without them, I don’t know what we would do. I could not imagine a better place for them to be.

I’m thankful for all the wonderful women I have met over the past couple of years. I may not be the best of friends with them all, but having many women that can talk about their kids, about life, about all sorts of things makes a bit more bearable at times. We all go through different and sometimes similar situations and there is no judgment.

I feel like there’s a lot more to be thankful for, but only so much space and time.

What are you thankful for this year?
